Design and Display

The Meizu 20 series features an E6 AMOLED screen, which has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and slim bezels. The regular variant has a 6.5-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Pro model has a larger 6.81-inch display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The Pro version also has a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and can deliver up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. Additionally, both devices support HDR10.

Both phones have an in-screen fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Meizu 20 models have a boxy design and three vertically stacked camera rings, as well as an LED flash unit, on their back panel. While both the regular and Pro models of the Meizu 20 series share some similarities in design with the iPhone 14 and Samsung Galaxy S23 series, they have unique features that set them apart from the competition.

The Meizu 20 Pro has a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto unit. In contrast, the Meizu 20 has a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP macro unit, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both models feature a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.

The Meizu 20 series is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The storage technology used is UFS 4.0, which is the fastest currently available. The devices also feature a vapor cooling chamber to dissipate heat from the phone. The Meizu 20 has a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Pro model comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support, respectively. Both devices run on the Flyme 10 OS, which is a Meizu skin based on Android 13.

The Meizu 20 series has dual 5G, WiFi-7, Bluetooth, and NFC. The best feature among these is the support for stereo speakers. The regular model is available in Dingshengqing, Pioneer Grey, Joyful Yellow, and Love Powder colors, while the pro version comes in Dawn Grey, Dawn Silver, and Sunrise Gold hues.
