Redmi fans, brace yourselves! The tech giant is reportedly set to launch the Redmi Note 12 4G in India and the global market soon. Leaks about the device’s design and specs have been circulating for some time now, and it looks like we have another juicy detail to add to the mix. Recently, a Geekbench database listing for the Redmi Note 12 4G (model number Xiaomi 23028RA60L) surfaced online, confirming some of the previously leaked specifications and suggesting an imminent launch.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Redmi Note 12 4G will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor, which could possibly be an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 chipset. The device will also have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with the latest Android 13 OS out of the box. In addition, the listing revealed that the Redmi Note 12 4G managed to score 422 in the single-core test and 1,252 in the multi-core test.
In terms of other specs, the Redmi Note 12 4G is expected to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is rumored to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor, along with a 13MP selfie snapper. It is also expected to have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support over a USB Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IR Blaster at the top.
Unfortunately, the Redmi Note 12 4G is said to lack 4K recording support, but it will come with other features such as a microSD card slot, IP53 rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and more.
Overall, the Redmi Note 12 4G seems like it’s going to be a solid mid-range offering from the Chinese tech giant. With the device’s imminent launch, it won’t be long before we see how it performs in the real world.
