Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has recently unveiled its latest offering, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China.
The smartphone is an addition to the already popular Redmi Note 12 series and comes with some impressive features.
One of the major highlights of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC, making it the first smartphone ever to come with this processor.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo shares a similar design with its elder siblings, sporting a boxy panel, flat edges, and a rectangular module to house triple camera sensors.
However, the phone’s back panel features a unique glittery design, making it stand out.
The smartphone features a 50MP primary camera, an FHD+ AMOLED display, and runs on the latest Android 13 operating system.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo Price
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is available in various models, including the 8GB + 256GB model priced at RMB 1999 (approx Rs 23,900), the 12GB + 256GB model priced at RMB 2199 (approx Rs 26,300), the 12GB + 512GB version priced at RMB 2399 (around Rs 28,700), and the top-end 16GB + 1TB storage model priced at RMB 2799 (approx Rs 33,400). The phone comes in three color options – Blue, Black, and White.
Additionally, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be available in a special Harry Potter Edition, featuring a customized design with the ‘Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’ logo, Guardian deity “Stag” drawing, and Harry Potter logo engraved on the back panel. The phone will also come with a customized back cover, a custom card pin, and some stickers. The rear camera cutouts of the Harry Potter edition resemble Harry’s signature glasses and lightning scars, making it a must-have for Harry Potter fans.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC, which is paired with Adreno GPU for graphics and up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage. The storage is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, and flat edges.
Moving to the camera department, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo comes with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The phone is expected to house a 16MP front snapper for selfies and video chats. Other features include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, an x-axis motor, IR Blaster, and Hi-Res audio.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, making it an ideal choice for users who prefer a long-lasting battery.
