The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is likely to come with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, just like its predecessors – the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. It is also expected to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO display with a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. While it may have flat edges on the side, this is not yet confirmed.
The highlight of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is its quad-camera setup on the back, which is expected to be even better than the already impressive Xiaomi 13 Pro cameras. It is tipped to feature a 50MP primary camera, possibly the 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, along with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 50MP telephoto cameras. The front camera is expected to be a 32MP shooter for selfies and video chats, and Xiaomi may continue to use the Leica branding for the optics.
The phone is expected to come in two RAM and storage variants – 12/16GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. However, there may not be a 1TB storage version available. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also likely to run Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box.
Finally, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to pack a 4900mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. While the 90W fast charging support is impressive, it is a step down from the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s 120W charging support.
In summary, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is shaping up to be a high-end smartphone with top-of-the-line specs and features. With its expected launch just a few months away, fans of Xiaomi are eagerly anticipating the official announcement and release of the device.
